Accreditation & Memberships

Breesport Baptist was one of six churches who formed an association and founded Twin Tiers Christian Academy in 1976. In 2004, the association disbanded, and Breesport Baptist was asked to assume sole leadership of TTCA. Currently, the school board is made up of nine individuals: the church’s lead pastor, the head of school, four members from Breesport Baptist, and three members from other churches of like faith.

Twin Tiers Christian Academy is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and by the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA). Further, TTCA is recognized by the New York State Education Department as a Registered School which allows TTCA to issue valid NYS diplomas and administer state Regents examinations.

Twin Tiers Christian Academy is a charter member of both the New York-Pennsylvania Christian Athletic Conference (NYPENN) and the Baptist Christian School Association of New York State (BCSANYS). As a NYPENN member, TTCA competes in interscholastic sports. While membership in BCSANYS provides the school’s teachers and leaders opportunities for professional development and ministry support within the context of a regional Christian school association.
