Academic Offerings
Intentional Future Preparation

Our high school is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Students are guided to choose the academic track that best aligns with their future goals. We offer college preparatory classes, Accelerated College Education (ACE) courses that allow students to get a jumpstart on their degree through dual enrollment (free college credit), and vocational tracks for students in grades 11 and 12 who wish to pursue specific trades. All of our classes are taught from a biblical worldview and meet New York State learning standards.

21st-Century Learning

We understand that our students are preparing for jobs of the future and have invested in a top-notch science lab for hands-on learning experiences. Many of our high school students participate in the FIRST Tech Challenge, an international robotics program, and we cultivate relationships with several engineering, design, and environmental organizations. These partnerships open doors for our students to build their resumes through educational trips, job shadowing, and even paid internships. College scholarships related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields are also available through collaboration with local organizations.

Clubs & Electives

High school is all about trying new things and finding out what you’re passionate about. We invite students to tailor their schedules with exciting electives like art, theater, technology, and music. TTCA students discover their gifts and talents and build meaningful friendships through activities like our worship team, yearbook staff, theater productions, robotics team, and more.

Christ-Centered Athletics

Our athletics program emphasizes Christlike sportsmanship and character building. Teams include soccer, cross country, basketball, and volleyball, and student athletes compete in a league with both private and public schools. Our sports teams have won multiple league championships, and many athletes have gone on to compete at the collegiate level!

College & Career Prep

A Roadmap to Success

Wondering where our students go after graduation? An impressive 80% of our graduates continue their education after TTCA, and all of those students are accepted at the college level. Another 15% head directly into successful careers, and 5% enter the military. We’re proud of our alumni who include teachers, doctors, pastors, financial advisors, missionaries, social workers, professors, and successful leaders in many other fields.

We prepare students for bright futures through an intentional four-year plan:

9th Grade

Teachers and guidance staff begin by walking students through the college planning process, so they know what to expect over the next four years. Students are mentored to identify areas of interest and provided with opportunities to develop technical skills.

10th Grade

Representatives from a variety of colleges visit our campus to talk with students about the admissions process. Students begin taking Honors classes and are encouraged to attend open houses at colleges or trade schools of interest.

11th Grade

Vocational programs offer hands-on experience for seniors to prepare for specific college or career goals. Students participate in job shadowing, college visits, and industry-specific mentorship. Juniors also take the PSAT, the SAT, and the ASVAB — a vocational aptitude test.

12th Grade

Seniors take the SAT and ACT and receive focused guidance as they complete numerous scholarship applications. School administrators meet with seniors throughout their final year to help with college planning, and an area-wide career day is held so that our students can practice interviews with prospective employers. It’s always exciting when the acceptance letters begin to arrive — our students have been accepted to renowned universities such as Cedarville University, Liberty University, Upstate Medical University, Cornell University, Harvard University, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, to name a few.

“I have watched my children grow and mature attending Twin Tiers Christian Academy.

Each of them has taken advantage of the opportunities to improve themselves. It’s a place you can watch a young person grow in knowledge, character, and most importantly, in the ways of the Lord.“

-Rebecca Spinosa, TTCA Parent

School Culture

A Close-Knit Community

High school is an exciting time, but it can also be overwhelming. TTCA fosters a close-knit community where students feel a strong sense of belonging and support. This is accomplished through:

Excellent Teachers.

Classes begin with a biblical focus and prayer as teachers encourage students to be kind and challenge them to consider how they can use their unique gifts to bless others. Teachers are intentional and capitalize on teachable moments to engage students in conversation both in class and between classes.

A culture of mentorship

Our seniors know that they are role models within our high school and intentionally interact with younger students, providing wisdom and mentorship.

Leadership opportunities

We want every student to think of themselves as a leader. Whether in the Student Leadership Council, the National Honor Society, or an interest-based club, students are inspired to lead in areas where they feel called.

Campus Safety

A Safe Place to Learn and Thrive

Safety is paramount at every age and stage. High school students need to feel physically, emotionally, and socially safe to learn well. Our campus is highly secure, with surveillance technology, locking doors, and new facilities. At TTCA we foster a culture centered on respect and Christian values and because of this our students model kindness, invest in each others’ lives, and sharpen the faith of their friends as they grow deeper in their own.
